Refund policy

Digital product. Activated keys aren't refundable — but if the failure is on our side, we replace or refund without question.

  • It's a digital product

    A key is a sequence of characters that activates online and arrives in your inbox instantly. No box, no postal service, no courier — there's literally nothing to "return" in the physical sense.

    Under EU consumer-protection rules, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, US state-level digital-goods statutes, and equivalent national laws, activated digital goods are not eligible for return or exchange. The same rule applies to Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Live, Nintendo eShop, and GetAncient.

    An activated key isn't a defective product. It's a service that's been delivered and used — as irreversible as a movie you've watched or a concert you've attended.

  • When refunds aren't available

    We don't refund in the following cases: the key was successfully activated at least once; you changed your mind and want a different product; the product is incompatible with your system and that incompatibility was clearly stated on the product page; you didn't read the terms or system requirements before purchasing.

    We also don't refund chargebacks issued without first contacting support. If something was charged in error we'll refund it ourselves. A chargeback results in a permanent ban and forfeiture of any unactivated licenses on the account.

  • When refunds are available

    Full-amount refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if the key has not been activated. Just message support with your order number — the refund returns to the original payment method within 24 hours.

    We also refund if: the key was broken at the moment of delivery; the product is unavailable through our fault (revoked license, vendor outage); the activation region was stated incorrectly; the product description doesn't match what you actually received.

    If the failure is on our side, the refund happens automatically within 24 hours — no email threads, no screenshots, no proof needed. That's the insurance, and we pay for it.

  • Replacement vs refund

    Replacement is usually faster and better for both sides: you get a working product in minutes and we keep the buyer. By default we offer a replacement first — e.g. if a key gets banned, we issue a fresh one from the same pool.

    If replacement isn't possible (product discontinued, regional restriction, pool exhausted) we switch to a refund. Between "money back" and "a different product at the same price" the choice is yours; we don't push either way.

  • How to request a refund

    Message Telegram support or email support@GetAncient.io with the subject "Refund — order #XXXXX". Include your order number, the reason, and a screenshot of the activation error if you have one. Median first response is 25 minutes.

    Once approved, funds arrive: on bank cards within 1–7 business days (depends on the bank), in a crypto wallet within an hour, on your account balance instantly (the recommended option — you can buy a different key right away).

  • Why we're strict

    Every refund of an activated key is a hit we can't recover from: the key is gone from the pool, the vendor has already been paid. If we allowed refunds for any reason, prices would have to go up 15–20% to cover the fraud.

    So strict on activated keys; instant and unconditional on anything that wasn't activated or that broke through our fault. Fair trade: we hold the line on quality and automation, you stick to the rules. The fine details are in the Terms of Service.
